San Francisco

by Matt

Since my Dad was going to San Francisco I noticed that Stanley could fit in his suitcase. So I hid Flat Stanley in my Dad’s suitcase while my Dad wasn’t looking.

Cable Cars

Here Flat Stanley is riding a cable car. He thought it was a train but my Dad told him that it was called a cable car. Since the cable car went up and down hills it reminded him of a roller coaster. So he just sat back and enjoyed the ride.

Alcatraz

Here he is near Alcatraz, the prison. Flat Stanley tried to swim to Alcatraz but he just got soggy because he is paper. So my Dad had to dry him off at the hotel.

Sea Lions

Here he is looking at sea lions. He tried to get a closer view by swimming to the sea lions, but he got soggy again and my Dad had to dry him again.

Golden Gate Bridge

Flat Stanley is looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. He could only see the top because clouds were blocking it. So he tried to fly in the sky, he put his arms out but he just fell down because the wind pushed him down.

Chinatown

Flat Stanley is looking at Chinatown and wants to eat Chinese food.
